Amal Hassan Mahjoub holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Bahri and a Diploma in Special Education from Ajman University, qualifications that provide a strong foundation for her work with young children experiencing developmental challenges.
With nearly a decade of experience in early childhood and special education settings, Amal has served in various roles, including teacher, supervisor, and school psychologist. Her work has always centered on nurturing inclusive learning environments and supporting children with intellectual and developmental needs. Her hands-on experience in individualized education planning and behavior management directly informs her role at TDCC, where she collaborates closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s growth and well-being.
Amal is also dedicated to continuous professional development, having completed over a dozen specialized training sessions. These include certifications in Sensory Integration, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Portage Program Implementation, the Stanford-Binet Scale, developmental disorder assessment (PEP-3), and strategies for learning difficulties. Her additional training in communication skills, classroom behavior management, and early years curriculum further enriches her approach.
Amal’s strengths lie in her ability to create positive, structured, and engaging environments tailored to the individual needs of every child. Her passion for inclusive education and dedication to empowering children make her a valuable asset to the TDCC team.
