Abeer Altaamrah is a highly dedicated Occupational Therapist with a strong academic foundation, holding a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Jordan, where she graduated in 2014 with distinction, ranking first in her class. With over four years of professional experience in pediatric occupational therapy, Abeer has developed a deep expertise in working with children facing various developmental challenges, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, delayed motor skills, and physical disabilities.
At The Developing Child Centre , Abeer is integral to the Early Intervention Program within the Inclusive Education Services, where she applies her comprehensive knowledge and therapeutic skills to help children overcome barriers to their developmental progress. Her approach is child-centered, focusing on individualized treatment plans that are both evidence-based and tailored to each child’s unique needs. Abeer is skilled in implementing therapeutic interventions that promote independence, improve sensory integration, and foster the development of fine and gross motor skills.
Abeer is also passionate about collaborating with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to care. She believes that family involvement is key to the success of any therapeutic intervention, and she works closely with parents and caregivers to provide them with strategies and guidance to support their child’s progress at home.
