At TDCC we believe in early intervention and in empowering students. Early intervention has been shown to yield benefits in academic achievement, behavior, educational progression and attainment among other domains. Interventions with trained professionals and smaller child-to-staff ratios appear to offer more favorable results.
Early intervention cannot take place without early identification. To support families and school TDCC practitioners visit your school to carry out a screening of children who have been identified as being at risk. This is completed in coordination with parents and schools.
