Mona is a dedicated Educator in the Early Intervention Program at The Developing Child Centre, bringing together a strong academic foundation in psychology with extensive practical experience supporting children of determination in inclusive educational settings.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from National Ribat University (2015) and a Master’s Degree in Therapeutic Psychology from Al-Neelain University (2022). With over 8 years of experience, Mona applies psychological principles to support children’s early learning, emotional regulation, behavior development, and social participation in a structured and nurturing environment.
While her academic background is rooted in psychology, Mona has developed strong expertise in educational practice through her work in early intervention, learning support, and shadow teaching roles. Her experience allows her to understand the emotional and behavioral needs of children and translate this understanding into developmentally appropriate, evidence-based strategies within the classroom and therapeutic learning settings.
Mona’s work focuses on implementing individualized support plans, promoting classroom inclusion, supporting positive behavior, and strengthening children’s communication, social interaction, and independence. She places strong emphasis on creating predictable, safe, and supportive learning environments where children feel emotionally secure and motivated to engage and grow.
