Jerlyn Sario is a dedicated Learning Support and Special Education professional with a strong academic foundation in Special Education and Psychology, and several years of hands-on experience supporting children of determination across inclusive school, clinic, and home-based settings. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education majoring in Special Education, with prior academic training in Psychology, equipping her with a solid understanding of child development, learning diversity, and behavioral support.
Jerlyn has worked closely with children presenting with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, speech and language delays, and other developmental needs, providing individualized academic, behavioral, and communication support aligned with each child’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Her experience spans British curriculum school environments, charter schools, learning centers, and one-to-one home programs, allowing her to adapt strategies across different learning contexts.
In her practice, Jerlyn places strong emphasis on fostering independence, supporting communication (including the use of AAC systems), and creating structured, safe, and supportive learning environments where children can build confidence and express themselves meaningfully. She actively contributes to IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring, using data-informed approaches to track growth and adjust support strategies as needed.
Jerlyn brings a calm, patient, and child-centered approach to her work, collaborating closely with educators, therapists, and families to ensure consistency and continuity of support across home and school settings.
