Fazilath Shariff is a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist at The Developing Child Centre. With a solid educational foundation in the field, Fazilath holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology at SRM Medical College, India in 2012. Her academic journey has been complemented by continuous professional development, making her a well-rounded therapist equipped to address various speech and language challenges.
With over 11 years of hands-on experience including being the Head of Inclusion and senior consultant Speech and Language Pathologist, Fazilath has honed her skills in working with children who face a wide range of developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and language delays, and other related communication disorders. Her approach is deeply aligned with TDCC’s mission to provide inclusive, evidence-based interventions that foster the intellectual, emotional, and social development of every child.
Fazilath is certified in several specialized areas, including PROMPT, Oral Placement Therapy Level 2, and Gestalt Language Processing. These certifications enhance her ability to deliver targeted and effective therapy, addressing the unique needs of each child. Her expertise in individualized therapy plans and her commitment to collaborative work with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams make her an invaluable asset to the Inclusive Education Services at TDCC.
