Sakeena Begum is a passionate and dedicated Lead Educator with over five years of experience in the field of Special Education. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Indira Gandhi National Open University. She also earned her Bachelor of Education in Special Education from Thakur Hari Prasad Institute of Rehabilitation Science (affiliated with Osmania University), graduating with distinction.
Throughout her career, Sakeena has supported children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, and Learning Disabilities in inclusive school settings. She has served in progressive roles from Special Educator to Head of the Special Needs Department, gaining extensive experience in designing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), conducting assessments, managing referrals, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Sakeena has consistently pursued professional development, participating in national conferences and workshops on inclusive education, early intervention, autism strategies, sensory integration, and curriculum development. Her training also includes certifications in First Aid, CPR, and the use of AED.
Her expertise spans inclusive classroom management, screening and assessment, behavior modification, teacher mentoring, parent counseling, and data-driven documentation. She is also skilled in conducting special education internship programs and leading capacity-building workshops.
At TDCC, Sakeena is known for her reflective and collaborative approach, strong leadership, and commitment to holistic development. Her work is guided by compassion, curiosity, and a deep sense of responsibility toward helping every child thrive.
