Sally Jishi, a distinguished Occupational Therapist at The Developing Child Centre, embodies a unique amalgamation of academic achievement and practical expertise. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Canada, with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy obtained in 2015, Sally has devoted over seven years to nurturing children and young adults from 2 to 21 years old across diverse settings in Kuwait and Canada.

At the heart of Sally’s practice is her commitment to collaborative goal-setting with children and their families, addressing a wide array of developmental challenges such as ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, sensory processing disorders, and more. Her proficiency shines in her ability to enhance visual motor/perceptual skills and handwriting through precise assessments and customized intervention plans, aiming for seamless integration into educational environments and improved learning outcomes.

An advocate for continuous professional development, Sally enriches her therapeutic techniques with ongoing training in areas like sensory processing interventions, handwriting, self-regulation strategies, and the therapeutic application of play. This dedication ensures her approach is both innovative and grounded in the latest evidence-based practices.
