She holds a Diploma in Social Work from Kisii University, Kenya, and a Certificate in Inclusive Teaching and Learning Approaches from Alison. Her academic background equips her with a strong understanding of child development, inclusive education frameworks, and learner-centered support strategies.

With over eight years of professional experience, Florence has supported children across early years and primary levels in nursery, school, and home-based settings. She has extensive experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN), delivering individualized 1:1 learning support, small-group interventions, and classroom assistance. Her practice is grounded in adapting learning approaches to meet each child’s unique cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Florence brings strong expertise in inclusive teaching practices, behavior regulation, and multisensory learning strategies, including the use of visual schedules, structured routines, and positive reinforcement techniques. She is skilled in supporting early literacy and numeracy, monitoring progress, and adjusting goals through data-informed observation. Florence works closely with educators, therapists, and parents to ensure consistency across environments and to promote meaningful skill carryover at home and in school.

Her approach is compassionate, structured, and child-centered, with a strong emphasis on building confidence, independence, and engagement. Through creating safe, inclusive, and well-structured learning environments, Florence supports children in developing both academic skills and functional independence, aligned with TDCC’s commitment to holistic and inclusive education.
