Bakhtaver is a reputed Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of experience in private practice, rehabilitation centers, hospitals and school settings. Prior to joining The Developing Child Center in 2013, she built a successful private practice at the Dubai Community Health Center, led the Occupational Therapy Department at the Dubai Center for Special Needs, and was responsible for inpatient and outpatient operations at the Dubai Hospital OT Department.

Bakhtaver has extensive experience in evaluating and treating individuals with fine motor coordination deficits, handwriting difficulties, sensory processing disorders, developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, and congenital & genetic disorders.
