Badar was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi, Pakistan in 2013. She holds a certification in Sensory Integration and Praxis Testing (SIPT), SCERTS (Social Communication, Emotional Regulation and Transactional Support), and (The Developmental, Individual Difference, Relationship-based) DIR Floortime 101.

Badar worked in pediatrics using a holistic approach for 10 years, working within the inclusive school setting as well as private settings. She worked with children presenting a wide range of medical conditions including, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, sensory processing dysfunction, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, Williams syndrome, neurological impairment, developmental delay, and handwriting issues.

She also volunteered in the International Normative Data Collection for Evaluation in Ayres Sensory Integration (EASI) project.

Badar is passionate about learning and growing professionally and likes to work in collaboration with team members and key people in a child’s life to help children grow functionally in all aspects of their daily life.
