Raqiya Al Maskari is a dedicated Lead Educator with a strong academic foundation and extensive experience in inclusive and general education settings. She earned her Master’s degree in Special Education from the United Arab Emirates University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, with a minor in Talented and Gifted Education for Special Needs, from the same university.
With over seven years of service in the field, Raqiya has taught in both mainstream and specialized settings, working closely with students of determination and their families to ensure holistic development. Her work includes designing and implementing individualized education plans, delivering tailored instruction in 1:1 and group formats, and fostering inclusive classroom practices.
Raqiya has enriched her expertise through professional training, including specialized projects with ADEK’s Department of Special Needs, where she supported initiatives for gifted and special needs students. She has also participated in numerous professional development workshops, clinical meetings, and family training sessions that strengthened her practice in evidence-based educational strategies.
Her expertise spans curriculum design, progress monitoring, behavior management, and family collaboration, ensuring that every child receives the support and opportunities they need to thrive. She is particularly passionate about creating inclusive environments that empower students to build confidence, showcase their talents, and meaningful progress.
