Priyanka Lalwani is a committed Lead Educator with a solid academic background in early childhood and inclusive education. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (2007) and an International Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy (2015) from Montessori Centre International, London. Furthering her specialisation in inclusive education, she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (2024) in Inclusion and Special Educational Needs at the University of Birmingham, Dubai. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Inclusion and Special Needs, continuing her commitment to lifelong learning.
With nearly a decade of experience across early years and primary international education settings, Priyanka has consistently been passionate about supporting children of determination through individualised programs and evidence-based interventions. Her professional journey encompasses classroom teaching, targeted support, and inclusion-focused practices, all aimed at promoting holistic development: academic, social, and emotional.
Priyanka’s professional development underscores her dedication to continuous improvement. She is a certified Applied Behaviour Analysis Technician (ABAT, QABA Board) and holds additional credentials, including International Behaviour Therapist (IBT). She also holds certifications in Dyslexia, Understanding Autism and Pediatric Emergency First Aid. She has also undertaken extensive training in early years pedagogy, primary literacy, and school-based support strategies under the guidance of internationally respected experts.
Her areas of expertise include the design and implementation of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs), administering standardised assessments and leading intervention groups targeting specific needs in literacy, numeracy, phonics, and dyslexia. She also facilitates sensory circuits and well-being sessions, and supports students with social, communication, and behavioural needs through structured, positive reinforcement.
Priyanka’s contributions to education have been recognised through honours such as the Mariamma Varkey Award for Inspirational and Outstanding Teaching (2023). Her collaborative mindset, creative problem-solving, and adaptive approach to diverse learner needs make her an integral member of TDCC’s inclusive education team.
