Meg Klien

Head of Speech and Language Therapy Services

Meg Klien graduated with her Master’s and Bachelor of Science Degrees from the University of Arizona, USA. She has been working as a director of speech pathology programs in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, clinics, and school facilities for over 30 years.

She moved to Dubai in 2001 and since that time her primary focus has been on working with children and adults who have had a variety of communication disorders. She has had extensive experience with developmental delays, dyspraxia, traumatic brain injury, CVA, voice disorders, autistic spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, stuttering, dysphagia, cleft palate, auditory processing disorders, phonological difficulties, and articulation disorders.

Her training and certification with various programs have been ongoing. Current training has included PROMPT, SCERTS, Central Auditory Processing Disorders, Hanen, and Floortime.

Since she began her career, she has felt very privileged to have had the opportunity to work with excellent multidisciplinary teams.  Input from other professionals, parents, and caregivers has been invaluable with regard to providing the most effective remediation.   Meg maintains her certification with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Assoc., is a registered speech/ language pathologist in the United States, and is a licensed speech and language therapist in Dubai.
