Raymond Wanjala

Learning Support and Classroom Assistant

Raymond Wanjala is a Classroom and Learning Support Assistant in the Inclusive Education Services at The Developing Child Centre, where his commitment to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for children with learning challenges aligns seamlessly with TDCC’s mission to provide holistic, child-centered education.

Raymond’s educational journey began with his completion of a Structured Leadership Training in Kenya in 2016. His background in disciplined forces has instilled in him a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to safety, all essential qualities that he brings to his role as a Classroom and Learning Support Assistant.

With over three years of experience working with children in the Middle East, Raymond has developed a deep understanding of the unique needs of children with learning challenges. His empathetic and patient approach allows him to connect with children on a personal level, creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. 

Raymond utilizes his experience as a coach to help children develop practical skills that are essential for their daily lives. His ability to set appropriate boundaries, ensure safety, and foster a positive learning atmosphere is instrumental in helping these children gain confidence and independence. At TDCC, Raymond leverages his experience and skills to contribute to the center’s vision of empowering children through individualized support and tailored interventions. 

Raymond’s role at TDCC is focuses in making a meaningful impact on the lives of children with learning challenges. His dedication to continuous personal and professional development, coupled with his culturally sensitive approach, makes him an invaluable part of the Inclusive Education Services team at TDCC, where he works tirelessly to help children achieve their fullest potential.
