Holding a Diploma in Special Education from the American University with High Honors, Lina stands out as a pillar of knowledge and expertise in her domain.
Earning her stripes as a Certified Orton Gillingham Practitioner and a Senior Special Educator Lina has delved deep into the spheres of Early Literacy and Dyslexia. This certification, coupled with her recognition by the UAE Ministry of Education and her continuous commitment to professional development, vouch for her unwavering commitment to providing impressive support to children in need. Her inclusive approach spans between Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
With fluency in both English and Arabic, Lina caters to a diverse cohort of students, ensuring a personalized, multilingual approach. Her extensive work experience is a testament to her versatility, encompassing roles as an Inclusion Specialist, Manager and Special Educator, and even a stint as a Special Education Coordinator. Over the years, Lina has crafted and executed Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) and Therapy Plans (ITPs), ensuring each child’s unique needs are met. Her experiences include training teachers & LSAs. She has an abundance of experience using many corrective evidence-based programs such as Lindamood Bell Programs (Seeing Stars, LiPS, Visualizing & Verbalizing, Talkies, On Cloud 9), Dyslexia Guidance, Davis Method, Interactive Metronome, and Orton Gillingham.
Lina’s expertise spans a wide array of learning challenges, including Specific Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, and Down Syndrome.
