Ski Dubai welcomes TDCC kids from the Inclusive Education Services for a 6-week adventure with our feathered friends, bringing wonder and education to life through the Therapeutic Penguin Program!
Overview
The TDCC Kids will embark on a 6-week adventure to visit the penguins at Ski Dubai as part of the Early Intervention Program. All the 5 classrooms are set for an adventure! Each group will have a 6-week encounter with the penguins. This program aims to provide the kids with an opportunity to interact and learn about the penguins in a unique and educational environment.
The “Therapeutic Penguin Program” is a six-week program for children in an Early Intervention Program. It involves a unique encounter with penguins at Ski Dubai and is designed to be a therapeutic and educational experience for the children.
The program will provide the children with incredible adventure and an experience to ride on the yellow bus with their peers! The adventure is said to be a transformative experience for the TDCC Kids, promoting growth, friendship, and hope. The TDCC Kids’ Penguin Adventure at Ski Dubai is truly a day to remember and will have a lasting impact on the children and their families.

Objectives of the program:
1. To develop social interaction skills.
2. To promote self-confidence and self-esteem through new experiences and accomplishments.
3. To improve fine and gross motor skills through physical activities and movement in the penguin habitat
4. To encourage verbal and non-verbal communication through interaction with the penguins and staff
5. To foster a sense of empathy and compassion towards animals and their well-being
6. To provide an enjoyable and enriching experience that will positively impact the kids’ overall development.
7. To provide a unique and memorable experience for the kids as part of their early intervention program.
8. To teach the kids about the importance of conservation and protecting wildlife.
Our EIP Team:
Our Inclusive Education Services team is a dedicated group of professionals committed to providing the highest quality care and support to children with special needs. Comprising of highly trained special needs educators, psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, ABA therapists, and nurses, our team is equipped with the expertise and experience needed to help children reach their full potential.

Uzma Akser is an accomplished Special Education Needs Coach and Mentor, as well as the founder of Coaching with Uzma. With a blossoming career as a lawyer in the UK, Uzma chose to attend to the unique needs of her child on the autism spectrum, and has since dedicated her time and expertise to helping parents navigate the challenges of raising children with special needs. She is a certified and credentialed Life and Academic Coach through ACA Coach Academies, and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). With an LLB (Hons) and an LPC from the UK and a background in Human Rights, Uzma is dedicated to helping individuals discover and use their voices to be heard and valued. Uzma understands the emotional struggles that many parents face when their child may have intellectual or developmental delays and aims to provide clarity and direction through coaching and mentoring. Her mission is to empower and motivate all parents, whether they are home educating or working with schools, to advocate on behalf of their children and create an inclusive and supportive environment for their child’s growth and development.
