Psycho-Educational Assessments
Every child learns in their own way, and today’s education system asks a lot of them. Educational psychologists work alongside teachers, school leaders, parents and students in Abu Dhabi to understand what helps each child learn at their best.
They look closely at the thinking, social and emotional skills behind learning, and use what they find to make learning work better. In practice, this means spotting children who need extra support or more challenge, designing programmes for those who are struggling or ready to be stretched, and developing new ways of teaching and learning.
At our TDCC centre in Abu Dhabi, an assessment gives you a clear picture of your child’s strengths and the specific difficulties they face. After the assessment, our Educational Psychologist works closely with your child, with you and with your child’s school. You’ll receive a detailed report with practical recommendations and a plan designed to remove barriers to learning.
Our Abu Dhabi team assesses and supports children and adolescents with:
