Thasbih Amin

Speech and Language Therapist

Thasbih is an experienced speech-language pathologist with twelve years’ experience in planning and administering speech-language pathology evaluations and implementing appropriate treatment. In 2007, she was awarded her Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from AWH Special College, India. Prior to coming to Dubai in 2008, she worked in India as a Clinical Supervisor for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.

Over the past twelve years, her UAE-based experience includes working as a speech and language therapist with early intervention, children, and adults with ASD (autism spectrum disorder), childhood language disorders, CAS (Childhood Apraxia of speech), ADHD, Articulation, and Phonological Process disorders, Auditory processing disorders, Stuttering and limited social skills. She is trained in PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale), Makaton Sign Language, DIR Floor time, online course in child-centered play therapy approach, auditory processing disorders, and SCERTS Approach. Her determination and steadfast desire to change the delivery of speech-language therapy into a delightful, holistic, and fun-filled learning experience for children and parents have been successful and are the goal for every child’s intervention program.
