Mildred Mahlan’u

ABA Therapist

Mildred Mahlan’u is a Registered Behavior Technician from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and a Certified Mental Health first aider in the UAE. She obtained a degree in Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Limpopo, South Africa, 2016.

Armed with her extensive experience in both classroom, and counseling centre settings, Mildred is grateful to help children with special needs and behaviour challenges implementing her expertise in counseling, behavior supervision; classroom management, giving parents support and conducting psychosocial well-being programs.

Mildred is specially interested in working and supporting children through Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy and actively involved in autism research and awareness. At TDCC, she is closely working with parents, therapists, specialists and supervisors using evidenced-based strategies and interventions in designing and implementing bespoke therapy tools and approaches to address specific needs of each and every child. 

In having both knowledge and experience in dealing with children, Mildred believes that every child is unique and has the capability of achieving their maximum potential. Utilizing the approach which deals with children individually or as part of a group, assessing their needs, reinforcing desirable behaviors, and communicating with family members, as a team, we will be able to safeguard and promote their welfare.
