Kriti earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2010 from The George Washington University. Following that, she moved to India to work with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other conditions such as intellectual disability, Down’s syndrome, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Cerebral Palsy. Whilst there she went on complete her postgraduate studies in Early Childhood Education (2012) at S.N.D.T. University in Mumbai, India. A believer in lifelong learning Kriti obtained her postgraduate certificate in Speech and Communication Needs in Children (2019) from the Anglia Ruskin University. She has been trained in DIR Floortime and SCERTS. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Education at Middlesex University, Dubai.
Kriti has been endeavored to put her knowledge into practice to support the children she teaches. She enjoys being part of multidisciplinary teams that support children on the Autism Spectrum while working towards their smooth transition into mainstream schools. Her experience has highlighted the need to infuse compassion with instruction to create a nurturing and encouraging learning environment where children are free to express themselves and supported to meet their goals.
